गवर्नर पर यौन शोषण का आरोप! गृह मंत्रालय को मिली शिकायत
देश के दक्षिणी राज्य के एक गर्वनर पर लगे यौन शोषण के आरोपों ने राजनीतिक गलियारे में भूचाल ला दिया है. इस मामले में आरोपी गर्वनर के खिलाफ गृह मंत्रालय को शिकायत मिली है कि राजभवन में काम करने वाली महिलाओं पर शारीरिक संबंध बनाने का दबाव डाला जाता है. गृह मंत्रालय इन आरोपों की जांच करवा रहा है.
जानकारी के मुताबिक, गृहमंत्रालय को भेजी गई शिकायत में कहा गया है कि राजभवन में काम करने वाली महिलाओं के साथ यौन शोषण किया जा रहा है. गवर्नर उनके साथ शारीरिक संबंध बनाने का दबाव डालते हैं. गृह मंत्रालय ने आरोपी गवर्नर की पहचान गुप्त रखते हुए इस मामले की जांच के आदेश दिए हैं. इसे गंभीरता से लिया जा रहा है.
टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया के मुताबिक, गृह मंत्रालय ने जांच में लगी एजेंसी को इससे जुड़े कुछ निर्देश भी दिए हैं. यदि गवर्नर के खिलाफ आरोप साबित होता है, तो उनसे इस्तीफा लेकर जरूरी कार्रवाई की जा सकती है. हालांकि, अभी केंद्र सरकार ने इस मामले के तहत आरोपी गवर्नर को नोटिस नहीं भेजा है. सरकार जांच रिपोर्ट का इंतजार कर रही है.
बताते चलें कि इससे पहले पिछले साल जनवरी में मेघालय के गवर्नर वी. संगमुंगनाथन पर भी यौन शोषण के आरोप लगे थे. तब उन्हें भी इस्तीफा देना पड़ा था. उन पर राजभवन को ‘लेडीज क्लब’ जैसा बना देने का आरोप लगा था. राजभवन के 100 से ज्यादा कर्मचारियों ने राष्ट्रपति प्रणव मुखर्जी से उनकी शिकायत करके जांच कराने की मांग की थी.
शिकायत में कहा गया था कि राजभवन एक ऐसा स्थान बन गया है, जहां राज्यपाल के प्रत्यक्ष आदेश से युवतियां अपनी मर्जी से आती-जाती हैं. कई की पहुंच सीधे उनके बेडरूम तक है. मई 2015 में मेघालय के राज्यपाल के रूप में शपथ लेने वाले षण्मुगनाथन ने गुरुवार को अरूणाचल प्रदेश में गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह में हिस्सा लिया था.
नौकरी पाने की प्रत्याशी एक महिला ने भी राज्यपाल पर आरोप लगाया था कि वह जब राजभवन में साक्षात्कार देने आई थी तो उन्होंने उसके साथ छेड़छाड़ किया था. बताया गया था कि राज्यपाल ने रात की ड्यूटी पर दो जनसंपर्क अधिकारी, एक बावर्ची और एक नर्स को नियुक्त किया है और ये सभी महिलाएं थीं. वह महिला स्टाफ को ही पसंद करते थे.
इससे पहले साल 2009 में कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता नारायण दत्त तिवारी की एक सेक्स सीडी सामने आई थी. उनदिनों वह आंध्र प्रदेश के राज्यपाल हुआ करते थे. एक दिन टीवी पर उनकी एक कथित सेक्स सीडी सामने आई, जिसने पूरे देश की राजनीति में भूचाल ला दिया. सीडी में एनडी तिवारी तीन महिलाओं संग आपत्तिजनक स्थिति में दिख रहे थे.
