गणतंत्र दिवस : बीटिंग रिट्रीट में भारत के जवानों ने कुछ यूं दिखाई अपनी ताकत
नई दिल्ली। भारत आज यानी 26 जनवरी को अपना 69वां गणतंत्र दिवस मना रहा है। इस मौके पर इंडिया गेट पर भारतीय राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने झंडा फहराया। इस दौरान सेना व अन्य विभागों की झांकियां निकलीं। इसके साथ ही भारत-पाकिस्तान सीमा के वाघा बॉर्डर पर बीटिंग द रिट्रीट कार्यक्रम का आय़ोजन होता है। इतना ही नहीं भारतीय सेना के जवान रोज शाम में इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन करते हैं। यह रिट्रीट 45 मिनट की होती है, जिसमें दुश्मन के सामने भारतीय जवान ताकत की नुमाइश करते हैं।
परेड के दौरान इन जवानों के पैर खुद के सर के बराबर उठते हैं। इन जवानों के परेड को देखने के लिए भारत के अलग-अलग हिस्सों से हजारों लोग आते हैं।रिट्रीट शुरू होने से पहले जवानों खास वार्म अप सेशन से गुजरना पड़ता है। इस दौरान परेड के अलावा एक और चीज बहुत मायने रखती है। जवानों की मूंछ। दुश्मन मुल्क के जवानों के सामने भारतीय जवान मूंछों को ताव देते हैं।
मूंछों की लंबाई यहां हिंदुस्तानी शान का प्रतीक होता है। इसीलिए परेड में शामिल होने वाले जवान मूंछों की खास तरीके से देखभाल करते हैं। शारीरिक ट्रेनिंग के अलावा बीटिंग रिट्रीट में शामिल होने वाले जवानों को खास पोशाक पहनकर निकलना होता है। सर पर लाल रंग की टोपी पहनते हैं। परेड में शामिल होने वाले एक जवान ने कहा कि काफी मेहनत करनी पड़ती है। ये लोग परेड से पहले काफी शांत दिखाई पड़ते हैं लेकिन उस दौरान काफी गुस्से में दिखते हैं।
बीएसएफ की महिला जवान सरहद पर देश की बेटियों का प्रतिनिधित्व करती हैं। साल 2008 के बाद बीएसएफ में महिला जवानों को शामिल करने की परंपरा शुरू हुई। जिसके कुछ साल बाद ही बीटिंग रिट्रीट में भी महिलाएं दिखने लगी। आमतौर पर सिर्फ झंडे को उतारने से पहले ही दोनों देशों के जवान हाथ मिलाते हैं। सिर्फ उसी समय को दूसरे को छूते हैं, लेकिन साल 2011 में भारत और पाकिस्तान के जवान बीटिंग रिट्रीट के दौरान आपास में उलझ गए थे।
